How to work with Toolbars in tab from the Menu Bar and select View menu.

To work with Toolbars in tab from the Menu Bar and select View menu.

To display or hide a bar, palette, or window and choose its options, do the following:

Step 1

  • Choose the View tab from the Menu Bar and select Toolbars in the Menu. Then the Toolbars dialog box will open.

Step 2

  • Select the check boxes of the items you want to display and clear those you want to hide. The items with boxes containing checks will be displayed. The items with empty boxes will be hidden.

Step 3

  • To display large text and buttons, select the "Display large text&ldots;" check box.

Step 4

  • To have the buttons appear flat, select the "Display flat style&ldots;" check box.

Step 5

  • To activate the roll-up feature for the Tool Options and Layer palettes and the Histogram, select the "Enable Automatic Roll-Ups" check box.

Step 6

  • To hide a toolbar when its commands cannot be chosen, select the "Hide disabled toolbars" check box.

Step 7

  • To customize the toolbar or Browser toolbar by adding and removing buttons; click the name of the toolbar and then the Customize button.

Step 8

  • Click Close to close the Toolbars dialog box and display the selected bars and palettes.
